Called to the bar on May 13, 2026, Jacob joined Fulton as an associate after articling with the firm and completing his Juris Doctor (Thompson Rivers University, 2025) and his Bachelor of Finance (Thompson Rivers University, 2022).

Jacob focuses his practice in Business & Corporate Law, Land Development, and Technology and Intellectual Property Law and is excited to continue building his career at Fulton. Driven by a genuine curiosity about people and business, he brings a thoughtful, down-to-earth approach to client relationships and is known for making complex issues feel approachable through clear communication and practical advice. Drawing on his background in finance and entrepreneurship, Jacob enjoys helping businesses, developers and entrepreneurs navigate opportunities and challenges as they grow.

Committed to both his clients and his community, Jacob values building meaningful connections and supporting the people and organizations that help the Interior thrive. Outside the office, you'll find him ski mountaineering, mountain biking, and exploring the mountains throughout Interior BC. He also enjoys travelling, giving back locally, and meeting new people - experiences that continue to shape the approachable perspective he brings to his practice.

Partner Matt Livingston had a blast hitting the links at the SCT&I Golf Tournament in support of the RIH Foundation as a guest of Tirecraft.

Called to the bar on May 13, 2026, before joining our firm as an articled student, Jude completed his Juris Doctor (Thompson Rivers University, 2025), and his Bachelor of Arts (University of British Columbia, 2020). Planning to focus his practice in general litigation and employment law, Jude is excited to continue building his career at Fulton and serving clients throughout the region.

When he’s not practising law, Jude can often be found at a live music show, watching a movie that’s firmly in the “so bad it’s good” category, or weighing in on a hockey debate. His curiosity, good humour, and easygoing personality make him a valued addition to our team.

Today, we celebrate our newest associates! 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗯 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗿!

Sam Dabner and Devin Buchanan took Jude and Jacob’s oaths and presented them with the coveted Fulton lapel pins. Our associates also gifted them the traditional Fulton clock, a reminder that time is life’s most valuable asset: spend it intentionally, make space to recharge, and strive for balance along the way.
