Different is not necessarily wrong!
Look. You can spend a whole lot of time trying to get someone to agree with your way or your belief. Maybe in the end they do agree. But do they? Really?
What looks like agreeing can be:
"I'm sick of this topic"
"I don't want to fight anymore"
"I'm afraid of your anger "
None of those are actually agreeing, right?
