It's Heritage Week! The Town of Essex was pleased to award four individuals at last night’s Regular Council meeting with the Community Heritage Preservation Award:

- Sebastian Schmoranz and Rena Rabheru for the redevelopment of 15 King Street West in Harrow

- Laurie Brett for chronicling the early history of Essex in her new book, The Rising Village

- Pauline Baldwin, for over 23 years of dedicated volunteer service with the Harrow Early Immigrant Research Society (HEIRS)
