Today is Cyrus’ last day as our summer intern, and we’re genuinely grateful for what he brought to our practice.

Over the summer, Cyrus rebuilt our internal workflows and implemented AI tools that cut down our time spent on administrative tasks. That means more of our time spent on advocacy, and it also means lower administrative costs for our clients.

Cyrus heads into Grade 12 with his sights set on computer science, AI, and security. We’re glad we got to be part of that journey, and we can’t wait to see what he does next!

Today, Team Zare and Providius were proud to participate in the 5th Annual PAO Charity Golf Tournament in support of two incredible organizations: Canada Beyond The Blue and the Ontario Police Memorial Ontario Police Memorial Foundation.

This year’s event carried even greater significance as we reflect on the recent tragic losses of officers who have died in the line of duty and those whose service-related struggles have claimed their lives. Their dedication, courage, and commitment to protecting our communities will never be forgotten.

At Zare Paralegal, we stand firmly behind our law enforcement community. We recognize the sacrifices made every day by officers and their families, and we are honoured to support initiatives that provide assistance, advocacy, remembrance, and hope.

Thank you to the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and participants who helped make this event a success and raise important funds for these worthy causes.

At Zare Paralegal Services, we’re always learning and growing.

A big thank you to Samantha Zahra of for leading an incredibly insightful session on dissociation in the workplace — what it is, how it can present, and how we can respond with empathy, safety, and support.

Education like this helps break down stigma surrounding mental health and strengthens our understanding as advocates for individuals living with psychological and mental stress injuries. We’re grateful for opportunities to continue building trauma-informed skills that help us better support our clients and community. 💙

Today, we recognize National First Responders Day in Canada.

To all first responders—thank you for showing up, every day, in moments that matter most. We recognize the impact this work can have, and the sacrifices it often requires.

Your strength, courage, and commitment do not go unnoticed. We truly appreciate all that you do for our communities.

This month marks 10 years since Ontario passed the Supporting Ontario’s First Responders Act (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder), 2016 — a meaningful step in recognizing the psychological injuries carried by those who serve our communities.

The photo I’m sharing is a paramedic’s epaulette that was gifted to me by a friend who lives with PTSD. For her, it was an act of trust — sharing something that represents both her work and what she’s been through.

For me, it’s a quiet reminder of the responsibility we carry in this work. To listen carefully, to advocate strongly, and to honour the trust people place in my team and I.

Ten years later, this legislation still matters. Not just because of what it changed on paper, but because of what it continues to mean for the people behind the claims, the diagnoses, and the stories.

We still have work to do — but today, I’m reflecting with gratitude, respect, and a deep sense of purpose.
