🚨 CANCELLED: Clam Harbour Beach Sandcastle Competition

From the Halifax Regional Municipality:

Due to the special weather statement issued by Environment Canada and the 50mm+ of rain expected tomorrow, Sunday, August 23, the 45th annual Clam Harbour Beach Sandcastle Competition has been cancelled.

The event normally brings around 10,000 people to the area, and with continued wet conditions expected on the highway and around the beach entrance, municipal staff have determined it would not be safe to move forward.

If you were planning to head out tomorrow, make sure you spread the word! ❤️

Technically, yes, but tax sales aren’t always the bargains they appear to be.

Properties are sold as is, where is, often without access, an inspection, vacant possession or any guarantee of clear title. There may also be liens, access issues, restrictions or a six-month redemption period.

Tax sales can offer an opportunity, but proper due diligence is essential. Have a lawyer investigate the property and title before placing a bid.

⚠️A low minimum bid doesn’t always mean a cheap property
