Michael (Mick) Levin has experience across several areas of practice including real estate, corporate and commercial law, civil litigation, and environmental law. Mick especially enjoys working with entrepreneurs to plan for success by providing review and drafting of business documents including shareholder agreements, employment and vendor contracts, agreements of purchase and sale, intellectual
property assignments, and leases. With a background in economics and an MBA, Mick provides prudent advice in plain language on matters of corporate structure, asset management, contractual obligations, risk mitigation, and more. By delving into the underlying needs of each client and applying innovative problem solving and strong advocacy skills, Mick works to resolve clients’ legal issues effectively and efficiently. He has hiked, biked, paddled, and climbed in dozens of countries and has served on the executive of the non-profit Climb Nova Scotia Association since 2008. From time to time he also works as an expedition guide in Antarctica and the Arctic, piloting watercraft, leading hikes among penguins or in polar bear country as applicable, and sharing his knowledge of environmental law and policy.
