Residential Landlords - Are you aware that Canada has a new 'Underused Housing Tax' , and that returns are due at the end of this month?

The CRA has created an online tool to help landlords understand if they are required to file.

Determine if you are affected by the Underused Housing Tax and have to file a return pay the tax.

The next Climate action incentive payment will be issued between July 14th and 21st! Eligible residents of Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island will be receiving their first payment.

Make sure you do your taxes every year to continue receiving these payments!

Stay informed! Some changes are coming to benefits and credits.

✔July 1st: applications open for period two of the interim Canada Dental Benefit
✔July 5th: Grocery Rebate and GST/HST credit payment day
✔July 14th to 21st: Climate action incentive payments will be issued
✔July 20th: Canada child benefit payment day
✔July 28th: first quarterly payment of the Advanced Canada workers benefit
