Halifax has an unusually high concentration of century homes, and if you are searching for a property here, you will almost certainly come across one within your budget.
Built with old-growth lumber, plaster walls, hardwood floors, and trim work installed by tradespeople whose primary craft was shipbuilding, these homes were built to last. Many of the best examples sit on established streets with mature trees and walkable access to most of what the city has to offer.
