Conroy Scott LLP

Conroy Scott LLP Conroy Scott LLP: Northeastern Ontario's Trusted Legal Advisors since 1958. Expertise. Integrity. Results. Our mandate is problem-solving.

Conroy Scott LLP has been offering clients this confidence since 1958. Our clients trust our professionals with everything from property and insurance matters to their personal freedom. This is a trust we will not forsake because we know that confidence lost is seldom regained. Our clients expect accuracy and certainty of advice and we can provide this because we have learned our craft in the tren

ches. We do not guess when we offer advice – it is based on experience and research. We will recommend solutions that aim to avoid litigation and we will urge any honorable settlement. However, if we must resolve a situation in a court of law, we are both capable and enthusiastic to do so. It is that skill and enthusiasm that actually keeps our clients out of court. At Conroy Scott LLP, we treat our client’s money as carefully as we would our own. We act in a cost-efficient manner and will not adopt a $10 solution for a $2 cause. Our fee structure includes: hourly rate, fixed fee and contingency, dependent upon the type of matter and the professional providing the services. In all cases, our aim is to give our clients top value for their money.

A Power of Attorney applies while you are alive and unable to make decisions, and an estate trustee becomes applicable after your passing.

Understanding the legal authority, and when these roles come into play, can make a meaningful difference.
