Hi Everyone!

It's almost Christmas. This year we are helping 3 amazing families for Christmas and to make their Christmas wishes come true. I would like to ask other Company's and any one who would like to help if you are interested please message me. Every year we try and help at least one family and this year so far we are helping 3 for sure but we could help more with more support. This time is especially difficult for some people and doing something for someone else feels amazing. Even if you can donate an hour of your time wrapping gifts I would be very greatful for your help and support. Thank you everyone in advance.

The Law Society has partnered with Fanshawe College to develop the Family Legal Services Provider program. Registration opens this summer for licenced paralegals. The program begins January 2025. Hi everyone! I'm reaching out to see if there would be any businesses or individuals interested in partnering up for Christmas to help families in need. Since the pandemic it's been hard on everyone. This Christmas I was hoping we can help some families in need by helping them with Christmas dinner and gifts. If anyone would be interested in helping please reach out as we can truly make a difference in making some Christmas wishes a reality. Nominations for the 2024 Law Society Awards are now open. Submit your nomination by December 15, 2023 by visiting https://lso.ca/awards-nominations.

Awards for lawyers include the Law Society Medal and the Laura Legge Award. Paralegals are eligible for the William J. Simpson Distinguished Paralegal Award. Both lawyers and paralegals are eligible for the J. Shirley Denison Award and the Lincoln Alexander Award. Nominations are encouraged for members from all communities, practice areas, firm sizes and regions across the province.

Some amazing news to share with everyone. As of November 1st Murray Paralegal Services is moving to 174 Douglas Street in Sudbury. Walk-ins welcome.
