AN EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!
Burnham Law Group is proud to announce that Timothy J. Burnham has been appointed a Justice of the Alberta Court of Justice, Northern Region, effective December 1, 2026.
Tim has practiced law with our firm since 2006. During that time, he has served clients across a broad range of practice areas and has contributed to the legal profession and the Grande Prairie community through mediation, mentorship, leadership and public service.
With his appointment to the Court taking effect on December 1st, Tim will remain in practice through November 30th and will continue working with and assisting clients during the transition before beginning his new role in public service.
Burnham Law Group will continue to operate and serve our clients as we move into this next chapter. Our lawyers and staff remain actively engaged in serving our clients, and the firm will continue to provide legal services in Grande Prairie and throughout the Peace Country.
Over the coming weeks, we will be working with Tim and our clients to ensure an orderly transition of his matters to the other lawyers at the firm. Our priority is to provide continuity for our clients and to ensure that they continue to receive the service, support and legal representation they have come to expect from Burnham Law Group.
Tim’s leadership, commitment to his clients and colleagues, and dedication to the firm have played an important role in shaping Burnham Law Group. While we will certainly miss having him working alongside us, we are proud to recognize this important milestone in his career and look forward to the firm continuing to grow and serve our community in the years ahead.
