I wear red to stand and walk in solidarity with the Indigenous community. All three of my children are Indigenous and it’s important to me that they are able to live full, safe, equitable lives free of fear and discrimination. Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people are targets for gendered, systemic racism. It’s important to remember the women, girls, and two-spirit people who have gone missing and murdered and we must continue to do the work to ensure that this system of erasure ends.
