Hope y'all had a great weekend! Here is a quick market update!

📊 New Brunswick Market Update | July 2026

Home sales were down 8.7% compared to last July, but prices continued to climb, with the benchmark price reaching $344,000 — up 6.7% year-over-year.

There are also more homes available than this time last year, giving buyers more options and keeping the market in balanced territory.

Townhouses had a particularly strong month, with sales up 48.8% and the benchmark price up 17.8%.

Of course, these are province-wide numbers and every local market is different.

I picked up my first sign today.

It's funny how something as simple as a piece of corrugated plastic can mean so much.

Nearly five years ago, I was behind the scenes helping market homes for 90+ agents. Today, I'm holding a sign with my own name on it.

It feels a little surreal.

Growing up, I had no idea where life would take me.

I was born in Vietnam and was immigrated to Canada when I was five. Like many first-generation kids, I grew up watching my parents work extremely hard and sacrifice a lot so my brother and I could have a better life and opportunities they never had.

At the time, I didn’t really understand what that meant.

Now that I’m older, I look back and see that so much of what I’ve been able to do started with them taking a chance on a completely different life.

That’s what FIRSTGEN means to me.

It’s a reminder of where I came from, who helped me get here, and why I want to build something my parents & family can be proud of.

This page won’t just be about buying and selling homes.

I’ll be sharing real estate tips, behind-the-scenes, local businesses, things happening around Fredericton, some wins, probably a few mistakes, and hopefully create opportunities for others like someone once did for me.
