Let's talk ADOPTION CONSTELLATION.

Instead of focussing on just three areas (the adoptee, birthparents, and adoptive parents) in the triad, we are focussing on ALL the people connected through adoption. This recognizes the myriad of relationships that are interconnected and influence each other over time.

We recognize adoption through the lens of the “adoption constellation”—a modern, relationship-based framework that honours the interconnected roles of all individuals involved. This approach moves beyond the traditional triad to acknowledge the broader family system, including stepparents, extended family, and community supports.
