These are some of my dear dear friends. Bill and Jess. Say "Hi Bill.." And yes, based on the photo, Bill will absolutely go Liam Neeson on you if you come at him in the wrong way.
Back in July we embarked on the MAJOR task of selling their longtime family home in the Grove, and getting them into something new! They had just FULLY and I mean FULLYYYYYYYY Reno'd their home, loved it...but had this itching feeling like there was something more. In a market like ours in July? Suuperrrrrrr tricky selling one and buying the other.
of course we made a plan and called it "operation not - homeless" and started forward. Initially, we had an offer in with a brand new builder, who gave us some time to list the house, but a couple weeks in they made the HUGE mistake of putting undue pressure on Bill. Go ahead...look at that face, you don't want to put undue pressure Bill. They wanted a full risk deposit and even claimed that "someone else was looking..". Dumb. Bill and Jess promptly said "No thank you" in their own colourful way and we let that deal die.
No problem! We always said in our pre-meetings, all we can do is go out there and TRY...if it flows and works we'll keep moving ahead. If it gets rocky and unsafe, we shut er down! And we were looking to shut er down..
Well, go figure, in that spot, We find this beautiful home backing water, and aroounnnnd this same time, someone came to look at their home that weekend and LIKED IT!! (you can't even make this stuff up). BAM!! Sold their house, and bought the new house. When you're in the flow and choose peace, the flow happens to YOU!
Sp precious being able to take this sold Pic, since we've been coming and going personally to this house for the last 10+ years, and even better yet, the last pic is us on their gorgeous deck celebrating possession day!
Bill, Jess, and Jack - I love you guys. What an honor to be be trusted by close friends and have some sort of professional skill set that can help you guys into this next RAD chapter of your life. Thanks for everything team! Now go and coach some volleyball or something..
