The TR-to-PR pathway will EXCLUDE Census Metropolitan Areas.
Immigration Minister Diab confirmed on April 18 that workers in CMAs may NOT qualify for the 33,000-spot TR-to-PR pathway.
Alberta's CMAs are:
❌ Calgary
❌ Edmonton
❌ Red Deer
❌ Lethbridge
If you're working in one of these cities — you need to understand your options NOW.

✅ 33,000 spots only — over 2026–2027
