32 today. 🎂
And I think one of the strangest parts about getting older is realizing how many things I used to think I needed to have figured out by now.
Turns out, not everything needs to be perfectly planned, perfectly timed or perfectly certain.
Some of the best decisions I’ve made came from paying attention, asking better questions, trusting myself a little more and being willing to change direction when something no longer fit.
Which, now that I think about it, is also pretty solid real estate advice. 😂
A few things 32-year-old me knows for sure:
Buy the house that works for your life, not the one that impresses everyone else.
Don’t ignore the small things just because the big picture looks good.
Ask the awkward question. It’s usually better to know.
Preparation gives you confidence, whether you’re writing an offer, making a career move or just trying to figure out what comes next.
Not every opportunity is the right opportunity.
And sometimes the thing that feels “too slow” while you’re living it ends up being exactly the pace you needed.
I’m really grateful for the people who trust me with such big parts of their lives, for the clients who become friends, for the lessons that didn’t feel like lessons at the time, and for a career that has taught me just as much about people as it has about houses.
Also grateful for cake. Very grateful for cake.
Here’s to 32. More curiosity, more courage, more laughing until my face hurts, and hopefully slightly fewer tabs open at all times. 🤍
