In the basement we’ve got the final stages of rough work getting completed. Ducting, furnaces, HVAC, framing, and much of the plumbing lines have been completed, and the team is just shoring up the electrical. We ended up replacing all the cast iron pipes under the slabs and the main stack as well to cover all our bases. Upstairs the kitchen is getting closer and closer to completion - just need to get the hood fan in there 🤙🏼

Rough Work at the Strathcona Legal Suite - the first 4 weeks of the Strathcona Reno have been focused on demolition, concrete work, trenching sewer lines, and fixing foundation cracks & concrete damage. New project in Strathcona 🤙🏼 This one already has a main floor in great shape, so it will involve fully gutting the basement to create a new 2 bed 1 bath legal secondary suite. Replacing the roof, demolishing the old garage to be replaced with a parking pad, and fencing the backyard are also lined up for this job. Big thanks for .papineau.7921 for helping us with the inspection, for putting together the scope of work, and for helping us get our last property sold prior to us closing this one. Construction will start in December and will be around 6 months from start to finish.

Another project down 🤙🏼 This one was a much smaller project than the last few, almost entirely a cosmetic and furnishing job on a small condo just off of Whyte Ave.

We tried some new styles on this one, which included working with Tracy from .ca who did some stunning mural work around the feature walls.

This project will be kept as a future AirBnB and medium term rental, and will hopefully be a good home base for many visitors as they check out Whyte Ave and Edmonton.

Shout out as well to Ryan from for the phenomenal job with the photos on this project, and Stuart from .coliving for much of the inspiration for the design!
