🚨 Alberta PNP has launched a new Eligibility Criteria Tracker.

The purpose of the tool is to help applicants identify which Alberta immigration streams they may qualify for.

However, before you rely on the results, there is something very important you need to know.

📌 Alberta Has Specifically Stated:
Even if the tracker indicates that you qualify for a particular stream, you may still NOT be eligible under the actual program requirements.

This means the tracker is only a general guidance tool and should not replace a full eligibility assessment.

📌 What I Found
When testing the tracker, I noticed situations involving PGWP holders where the results may not accurately reflect program eligibility.

For example:

1️⃣ Some PGWP holders who completed their studies outside Alberta may receive results suggesting eligibility.

2️⃣ However, actual program requirements may make them ineligible.

📌 Why This Matters
Many applicants make important decisions based on online tools.

If you rely solely on the tracker without understanding the actual legislation and stream requirements, you could:

A dangerous scam is spreading among temporary residents in Canada.

Some people are being told that they can get a 1-year work permit extension.

The “proof” being shown is often a work authorization letter generated after an application is submitted.

⚠️ Please understand:
A work authorization letter does NOT mean the application will be approved.

Many of these applications are being submitted without a legitimate pathway to approval.

📌 What Happens Next?

1️⃣ A dummy work permit application is submitted.
2️⃣ The applicant receives a work authorization letter.
3️⃣ The applicant continues working believing everything is fine.
4️⃣ Months later the application is refused.
5️⃣ The person discovers they have been out of status.
6️⃣ In many cases restoration options may no longer be available.

7️⃣ This can result in enforcement action, inadmissibility issues, or removal proceedings.
