πŸ“’ Express Entry Draw #418 β€” French-Language Proficiency

πŸ“… Date: May 28, 2026
πŸ“¨ Invitations Issued: 4,500
🎯 CRS Cut-off: 409

Another large French-language draw β€” and the score remains significantly lower than recent CEC and PNP rounds.

What this means:

β€’ French continues to be one of the strongest strategic advantages in Express Entry
β€’ Candidates with French proficiency may qualify with CRS scores that would not be competitive in other draws
β€’ IRCC continues to prioritize Francophone immigration

Recent comparison:

πŸ“Œ CEC Draw (May 27): CRS 518
πŸ“Œ French-Language Draw (May 28): CRS 409

That's a difference of 109 CRS points.

If you're planning for PR, French may be more than a language skill β€” it may be your pathway.

πŸ“ Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Immigration Law Conference 2026 – Ottawa

This week, Atty. Renz Grospe is attending the Canadian Bar Association Immigration Law Conference 2026 in Ottawa, joining hundreds of immigration lawyers and legal professionals from across Canada.

The conference brings together some of the country's leading immigration lawyers to discuss the latest developments in immigration law, Federal Court decisions, policy changes, litigation strategies, and advocacy efforts.

At RCG Legal, we believe that staying current with changes in immigration law is essential to providing strategic and effective representation for our clients.

Please note that our response times may be slower than usual today as Atty. Renz is attending conference sessions throughout the day. Our team will continue to monitor urgent matters, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

We're looking forward to bringing back new knowledge, insights, and strategies that will benefit our clients and strengthen our advocacy.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Proud to represent RCG Legal at one of Canada's premier immigration law conferences.

Contrary to many consultants or lawyers, at RCG Legal, we value transparency and communication.

We do not hide your application from you.

Our process includes:

consultation and strategy with Atty. Renz;
assignment of a case manager;
document collection and forms preparation;
legal review before submission;
final package review by the client;
proof of submission after filing; and
regular updates every 2–4 weeks, or upon request.

We believe clients should know what is happening with their own file.

Of course, we are also human. Sometimes emails may be missed, especially when the office is handling many urgent matters at the same time. So we simply ask for patience, kindness, and persistence when following up.

Immigration is stressful enough. Our goal is to make the process clearer, more organized, and more transparent for our clients.

That is what separates RCG Legal from the rest.

A reminder to everyone:

Please treat junior staff, assistants, case managers, receptionists, and every member of a legal team with respect.

At our office, we do not tolerate disrespect, condescending behavior, or rude emails toward our employees. We also ask clients to be mindful of the tone and words they use when communicating with the team.

Immigration work is stressful for everyone β€” clients and staff alike. But our employees are human beings doing their best to assist, follow up, prepare documents, answer messages, and help move files forward.

We are a law firm handling serious legal matters, not a fast-food counter where demands are instantly fulfilled the moment someone sends an email.

Respect and professionalism should go both ways.

πŸŽ“ PGWP Refused? What You Do Next Matters.

A PGWP refusal is not always the end.

But the wrong next step can make things worse.

After refusal, the real questions are:

β€’ Do you still have status?
β€’ Can restoration still be filed?
β€’ Were you authorized to work?
β€’ Was the refusal legally correct?
β€’ Is reconsideration possible?

Many graduates panic and file applications without strategy.

That can create:

❗ unauthorized work issues
❗ status gaps
❗ future compliance concerns

A PGWP refusal is not just a refusal.
It becomes part of your immigration history.

RCG LEGAL β€” Structure the response before making the next move.

πŸ“’ Express Entry Draw #417 β€” Canadian Experience Class

πŸ“… Date: May 27, 2026
πŸ“¨ Invitations issued: 3,000
🎯 CRS cut-off: 518

Another CEC draw β€” and the score is still high.

What this means:

β€’ Canadian work experience remains a priority
β€’ The pool is still competitive
β€’ A strong CRS strategy matters more than ever

If you are on a PGWP or work permit, do not rely on waiting alone.

Look at your options:

β€’ CRS improvement
β€’ Provincial nomination
β€’ Employer-based pathways
β€’ French language strategy

✈️ Applied to Extend Your Work Permit? Thinking of Traveling?

Yes, you can leave Canada.
READ MORE HERE:
https://ircc.canada.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=190&top=17

But your work authorization may change when you return.

Here’s what can happen πŸ‘‡
1️⃣ Re-enter as a Visitor
If your extension is still pending:
❌ You cannot work
❌ Maintained status to work is lost
βœ” You must wait for approval

2️⃣ Re-enter as a Worker
If your extension was approved while you were away:
βœ” You can resume work

3️⃣ Border Surprise
An officer may require you to apply again at the port of entry.

Your application may still process.
But your right to work might not.

Before you book that flight β€” know the risk.

πŸ“’ EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW #416 β€” PNP πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

πŸ“… May 25, 2026
πŸ“¨ Invitations Issued: 334
🎯 CRS Cut-off: 805

Another Provincial Nominee Program draw β€” with a CRS score driven by the additional 600 nomination points.

What this means:

β€’ Provincial nominations continue to dominate high-score draws
β€’ Candidates without a nomination will not reach this range
β€’ Provinces remain one of the strongest PR pathways for workers already in Canada

The trend is clear:

General competition remains high, while provincial alignment continues to create opportunities.

Do not focus only on CRS.

Focus on positioning.
