Anchor Law will now be accepting new clients in the area of wills, power of attorneys and end of life directives. This new focused service offering will include help you deal with the emotions that can come with having to think about these things, we offer a holistic approach- you are not charged by the hour *conditions apply regarding fees.
Services include helping couples with young children make didficult guardianship decisions and discuss in a healthy manner the best interest of the children; helping clients who want to either explain or discuss their decisions with family members, we have to stop waiting to the last minute, i learned that the hard way. We take a calm and holistic approach to ensure that your final wishes, are yours. That they are respected and honoured by your loved ones

We have made the conscious decision to step away from court matters due to health issues, however Anchor remains committed to the fight against intimate partner violence and the epidemic that is plaguing our province, violence against women and children, violence against minorities, and survivors of sexual assaults. We are proud to announce that we will be offering consulting services including- safety planning, violence risk assessments, getting out safely (with confidential telephone lines and quick exits). We will be consulting from how to prepare to leave to making sure all the evidence is there for your court matter, at coaching fees. Also, as working with collaborators in the field of identifying factors of a possible violent situation in an er setting for medical professional, situational awareness for first responders, medical staff and social workers who want to work safer, in their environments. We will be offering coaching sessions for not for profit organizations like safe houses, transition houses, promoying staff safety and learning about the chain of evidence, what the victim’s lawyer will need, more effecitve EIO’s and what the victim will need - we offer these sessions for employees of shelters aroundthe province to you anywhere in the province and will be hopefully expanding our ptograms to PEI and Nova Scotia. We help you help victims prepare for court in a holistic non retraumatizing manner. (We finally gwt to use our certifications!) we are trauma informed .
Further, we will be offering a 25% discount on a corporate risk assessment and review all your HR policies to ensure they are top of worksafe requirements in the sectors of violence and human rights, in and out of the workplace, what are employwrs obligations if an emproyee is secuallt assaulted, offering a 25% discount to the first 3 small or medium businesses that wish to work with Anchor Law and consulting in adapting their HR policies and being worksafe compliant in these areas (while including a university student or professor in view of academic research paper). we gladely want to work with your organization big or small to innovate your company on community issues. As of September, 2026, we will be announcing a few new areas of law and consulting that we have been learning about, preparing for almost, getting certified on, almost like waiting for a baby to finally be born… we are really excited to also announce our new collaborators this fall.
