Office update Apr 24 2026

The office is now closed until May 25 2026 as Beth will be on medical leave. No appointments are available for new clients. There are a few appointment times for existing clients with urgent matters, please phone or email and Beth will make every effort to assist.

Voicemails and emails will continue to be monitored frequently and responded to.

She will be back to work in June on a part-time basis for the remainder of the year and will be accepting a limited number of files each month. Please phone / email to confirm availability.

📣Office update!

As of March 23 2026 Beth is back to work on a part-time schedule, and will be seeing clients by appointment only. Call or email [email protected] to book an appointment.

Beth will be on a reduced schedule for the remainder of spring/summer 2026, and the office will be closed for a month in spring (timing TBD). We will announce closure dates as soon as they are confirmed.

CLOSED MARCH 2026 for medical time off ...

but Beth will be back to work in April 2026, and just limited in the number of files she will accept. If you'd like her to help you out, please get in touch as soon as possible, so she can save a space in her closing calendar for you! Phone 250-363-9611 or email her at [email protected].

Also, do forward by email your real estate contract or mortgage commitment letter if you can, that helps Beth to determine if she is able to take on the file, and helps her provide an accurate and competitive quote for services rendered.

The Village of Cumberland is receiving funding through the Rural Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Program (REDIP) to develop a Feasibility Study which will identify development costs and best use scenarios for a 30-acre parcel of surplus land in the Village. The study will focus on job creation and will respond to the growing demand for tourist accommodation and commercial development opportunities in the region.

Since the program was launched in 2022, REDIP has invested $142 million to support more than 450 projects across B.C. and helping to create an estimated 7,000 jobs in rural areas.

Through REDIP, we’re empowering rural communities throughout B.C. to thrive and grow. Together, we’re building a sustainable future in every corner of our province.

The next intake for the REDIP is expected to open for applications in July of this year.
