My wife Kim and I have always wanted to raise a family with the island lifestyle, so in 2012 we decided to make the move from the mainland. As a child, I spent my summers with my family In the Comox Valley and

have grown to love the area. My mother’s family settled in Comox in 1927 and had a farm here until 1970. After the sale of their farm, my family annually came together and enjoyed summers on the beautiful beaches of Kye Bay, Comox

I started my professional career as a child and youth care counselor for 10 years, working with youth at risk and children with special needs. In 2000, I went to culinary school and became a chef. We eventually purchased and operated a successful restaurant in Fort Langley. We sold our restaurant in 2006 after starting our family. From there I took what I learned from our award-winning restaurant and for the next 9 years, worked in the food sales industry. This included my own successful company that I founded, Coast Seafood Distributors. During all of these years, I have bought and sold many properties and have always enjoyed learning about the real estate industry. My wife has always suggested and finally convinced me to take my real estate course. I went back to school and received my real estate license in 2016. I enjoyed this industry so much that I decided to make it a full-time commitment. I am loving that I get to help others buy and sell homes and investment properties on Vancouver island. You will find that my passion is developing and maintaining relationships and I base my business on family values, honesty and integrity. I utilize my past and present business experience on a daily basis with precise contract writing, impeccable customer service and strong negotiation skills. I have a reputation of being an ethical, hardworking and reliable real estate advisor and an “easy to work with” person who listens first and talks after. 📊 MAY MARKET STATS ARE OUT!

The Vancouver Island real estate market remained steady in May, with buyers taking a measured approach while well-priced homes continued to attract interest. Inventory increased slightly, giving buyers more choice, while strong townhouse and condo activity helped support overall market performance. 🏡📈

Here’s a little breakdown:

• 768 homes sold across Vancouver Island, down 1% compared to May 2025.
• Active listings increased 3% year-over-year to 4,585 properties.
• Townhouse sales jumped 33% and condo sales rose 10% compared to last year. 🎉
