Céline, Cornwall and area Real Estate

Céline, Cornwall and area Real Estate I help homeowners in Cornwall and area move from a home that no longer fits to a home and lifestyle that does, through my A Wave From It All® Blueprint.

I graduated from College in 1991. I studied and worked in an office setting for a Government Funded program for 10 years. After 10 years, I felt I was missing something. I wasn’t fulfilled and I was looking for something different, something more. I wanted the freedom to live my life on my terms and I wanted to help people. In 2002, there were a lot of government cutbacks, restructuring, and job l

osses and unfortunately, my position was eliminated

The search began for another job. I was ready to settle and accept another office job. I went to countless interviews for another office job but it never felt right. Just as I thought I would be working in another office environment, I was approached by a local Realtor®. This meeting changed my life. He was looking for an assistant to help him with his day-to-day duties. The catch was that I had to go get licensed as a Realtor®. He didn’t just want an assistant, he wanted a business partner. I didn’t know it at the time but this was exactly what I was looking for. After receiving my license in 2003, my new business partner and I opened up a Real Estate Office. Together, we built and managed a very successful Real Estate business for 14 years. I learned so much from him. He was a great teacher. After 14 years, it was time to do my own thing. My business partner and I were at a point where we wanted different things in our business lives and it was time to go our separate ways. It wasn’t easy to be on my own as a Realtor®, but I learned to persevere. Just like it’s not easy to take the step to make changes in your living situation. Back in 2012, my husband and I decided to downsize from our 1700-square-foot home. It was too big to maintain and we felt like we were working just to pay off the big house. The house was expensive and we were just the 2 of us. We wanted to live a more simple life and travel. The search began and we ended up in a 1000-square-foot home

It took time to adjust to the size, but it’s a decision we never regretted. Having been through that experience, I feel strongly about helping others in the same situation. Even if you’ve bought and sold many times. There can be doubts and fears. But with the right person by your side and with the knowledge and experience that I provide, it can be a great step towards your financial freedom

That’s why I love helping homeowners achieve their goals and helping them downsize so they can live their best lives.

This is a conversation I hear all the time, from both sides.

Parents who feel like their kids are trying to control their lives

Kids who are terrified something will happen before anyone says the hard thing out loud.

I've lived both sides of it.

And I can tell you — it's almost never about control. It's about fear.

Fear that waiting too long means the choice gets made for you, in an emergency room, instead of on your own terms.

If your family's circling this conversation and nobody's landing it, I'd be glad to help you have it.

Overwhelmed by your home?

Sell the house that's overwhelming you. It's not as scary as it sounds.

Room by room, we sorted through it — but funny thing, I changed too.

I no longer felt like the house owned me.

I could travel. I could golf.

I could actually spend a Tuesday however I wanted, instead of mowing a lawn I never asked for.

The less house I had, the less my mind felt cluttered too.

I wouldn't trade this peace for any square footage in the world.

If you're ready for the same — I'm here.

Let's talk about your next chapter.

Empty rooms. No furniture. Just me and everything that used to be there.

For a moment, I swear I could still hear their voices.

This was the house they built their whole life in. Where they raised a family. Where we celebrated. Where we fought. Where we sat around the table more times than I could count.

Every wall held something. Every room had a memory nobody else would ever fully understand.

Selling it wasn't about the money, or even letting go of a house. It was about accepting a chapter was over — one I wasn't ready to close, but couldn't keep holding onto either.

I sat there a long time before I could make myself get up and lock the door behind me.

If you're facing something like this — a family home, a parent's home, a decision that feels impossible — you don't have to pretend it's easy. It's not supposed to be easy.

And you don't have to go through it alone.

Missed this morning's live?

We talked about one simple question: what does your life look like in 5 years?

For Shawn and I, it all started with one decision back in 2012 — downsizing our home.

That's what gave us the clarity to plan out everything else.

Tomorrow, 11am, we go LIVE for Day 2 — reverse engineering the actual steps to get there.

𝐀 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝, Terry made a decision most people put off for years — it was time to let go of the house she couldn't keep up with anymore and start her next chapter somewhere that made sense for her.

Her kids wanted her safe in an apartment.

Terry wanted to do it right, on her own terms.

So she reached out, and we figured it out together.

We found her apartment first, so she never had to feel rushed or stressed.

Once she was settled on the right place, she called me and said, 'Let's do this' — and together we watched her home sell with 4 offers in one weekend.

She was exhausted by the end of it. But mostly? Relieved. Proud.
Ready for what's next.

'You were wonderful to work with,' she told me.

Truth is, this only worked because we were a team through the whole thing.

She trusted the process, and I made sure she never had to walk it alone.

If you're facing what Terry faced — you don't have to figure it out by yourself either.

If you're thinking about your own next chapter, I'd love to help you figure it out — just like I did with Terry.

We didn't sit down and map out our perfect life first.

We downsized our home — and that's what gave us the vision.

Slow mornings, golf, the pool, travel, no house running our lives anymore.

Starting something new in my group this month to help others find that same clarity — a free 3-day challenge, starts Tuesday Aug 25th at 11am.

Day 1: what your life actually looks like in 5 years
Day 2: how to actually get there
Day 3: what staying stuck is costing you

This one only works if people actually show up and do it.

If you know someone ready to stop just thinking about downsizing, send them my way — or comment YES if that's you and I'll send you the link to the FREE 3 day challenge.

𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞?

Most people ask the wrong question.

It's not "can I afford the reno."

It's "what would this home actually be worth after — and does moving cost more than staying, once you factor in time, energy, and stress?"

The real question underneath it all: does this home fit the life you want right now?

Not the life you had.

If you're stuck on this decision, let's talk it through. DM me
