Born and raised in downtown Toronto, I made the move North to the Creemore area a few years ago. I had spent most of my adult life in the Ad business in downtown Toronto working at top international agencies on multi-national accounts. For many years I had thought about going into Real Estate; both my mother and grandmother were in Real Estate and my father was an Architect, so some might say Real
Estate is in my blood. However, the timing never seemed to be right until my partner and I spontaneously bought an amazing forest property on the Niagara Escarpment in Mulmur Hills near Creemore Ontario. With city life behind me and a new appreciation for the outdoors, I jumped into the awesome world of Real Estate and am now loving living in Ontario’s four-season playground. Looking back, little did I know that my 15 years of working in the ad business on integrated ad campaigns, developing brand strategies and digital campaigns for top-tier brands, would be an amazing setup for Real Estate. Advertising taught me a great deal and the cross-over into Real Estate is a little uncanny. We use so many of the same skills; communication, project management, organization and client service. I feel like I have made a smooth transition into the world of Real Estate. The Mulmur HIlls and Creemore is the perfect place to live and enjoy four seasons of fun. Most days I head to the Bay and sell property in and around Thornbury, Meaford, and Collingwood. Driving to and from work every day through the breathtaking and bucolic Beaver Valley, I am reminded of how lucky we are to live and work in one of the most gorgeous areas of Ontario and Canada. With city life behind me and a new appreciation for the outdoors, I have embraced the awesome world of Real Estate and am loving living in the country.
