We were all so sad to hear today about the death of Karen Peeples. Karen was a well known and much loved figure in the legal community in Cobourg for decades. We had the pleasure of working with her at Irvine Lester and Low and at Lester and Associates. Karen was universally admired by clients and colleagues for her kindness, her sense of humour, and her warm demeanour. Karen loved her family most of all and we will be thinking of them in the coming weeks.

A bit late to the game, but we are delighted to announce that Lester and Associates is the winner of the Northumberland News Readers' Choice award for Best Real Estate Law Firm. Alison tied for best Real Estate Lawyer. The firm also ranked at the very top in several other categories, including Best Law Firm, Best Legal Services, and Best Lawyer.
