Defamed on-line as a business or in person? Often damages are not going to 'fix' the problem. The offending party too often does not have resources and won't comply with orders to take down the posts.

Ontario has recognized a new tort of Internet Harassment and fashioned an innovative remedy - vesting ownership of the posts in the party harassed.

This allows the party harmed to take control and start the removal process from various online sites.
