Everyone has an opinion on this.

there’s no one-size-fits-all answer.

Here’s the real difference:

Your payment stays the same.

The $50,000 Rebate: What They’re NOT Telling You

Everyone’s talking about the $50K rebate in Canada right now…

But here’s what most people miss.

You’re not automatically getting it
just because you’re buying your first home.

Here’s how it actually works:

• Only applies to new builds — resale doesn’t count
• Full rebate only if the price is under $1M
• You must sign after March 20, 2025 and before 2031
• You need to be a Canadian citizen or PR

And this is where people get caught off guard…

If you’re on a work permit,
you don’t qualify (at least for now).

So before you start looking at homes,
make sure you actually qualify.

It can change your entire strategy.
