Wells Family Law has expanded into the Bow Valley with local Canmore resident Geneva Reid.
Geneva will divide her time between Canmore and Calgary with the assistance and support of our full team in downtown Calgary.
If you are from Canmore, you might recognize Geneva from her time at her parents’ restaurant Chez Francois, where she spent her weekends hosting throughout high school, later serving, and eventually managing the restaurant before attending law school.
In her free time, Geneva can be found enjoying time in Canmore’s beautiful outdoors.

Happy first day of school, Calgary!

New year, new teachers, new friends - maybe a few new family traditions, too. Here are 5 easy back-to-school rituals to make the first week a little more special.

1. Take a first-day or first-week photo - the same spot every year makes for a fun collection.
2. Make a "First Day/Week of Grade X" sign - chalkboard, paper, anything works!
3. Add a note to their lunchbox - because everyone needs a little encouragement.
4. Make a special first-day or first-week breakfast - pancakes, favourite brekkie, or whatever makes them smile.
5. Engage with them and ask one simple question - "What are you most excited about this year?"

Sometimes the little traditions are the ones they remember most.

Wells Family Law is pleased to announce that Geneva Reid, pictured on the right with Kathleen Wells, has completed her articling year, and she was called to the Alberta Bar on Tuesday.
Geneva will join Wells Family Law as an Associate.
Geneva divides her time between her hometown of Canmore, and Calgary. If you are from Canmore, you might recognize Geneva from her time at her parents’ restaurant Chez Francois, where she spent her weekends hosting throughout high school, later serving, and eventually managing the restaurant before attending law school. When she was not working at the restaurant, or you may have seen her in the Canmore area where she enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and walking with her dog Alfalfa.
