If yes, then you should know about the latest Express Entry draw that happened on January 10, 2024. IRCC invited 1,510 candidates to apply for permanent residence under all immigration programs. 🙌

The minimum CRS score for this draw was 546, which is lower than the previous draw. This means that you have a better chance of getting an ITA if you have a high CRS score. 🚀

The tie-breaking rule for this draw was December 31, 2023, at 18:23:22 UTC. So, if you submitted your profile before this date and time, and have a CRS score of 546 or higher, you might have received an ITA. 🎁

As of January 9, 2024, there were 212,157 profiles in the Express Entry pool. This shows how competitive the Express Entry program is, and why you need to improve your CRS score as much as possible. 💯

Last year, Canada issued 110,266 ITAs through Express Entry, which is a record number. This year, Canada plans to welcome even more immigrants through Express Entry, as part of its ambitious immigration targets. 🇨🇦

The IEC program is a government initiative designed to help young adults aged 18 to 35 gain valuable international work experience, improve their language skills in English and French, work in Canada, and fund the trip of a lifetime. The program has three streams under which potential candidates can apply:

1. **Working Holiday Stream**:

This stream grants an Open Work Permit (OWP) for up to 2 years, which allows holders to work for any Canadian employer.

2. **Young Professionals Stream**:

This stream issues an employer-specific work permit for individuals with a valid job offer.

3. **International Co-op Internship Stream**: This stream allows citizens of participating countries, who are enrolled in a post-secondary program in their country of citizenship, to intern for a specific Canadian company.

The 2024 season for the IEC program is now open, and the Work Permit Pool is accepting applications.
