Les billets d’avion devront être remboursés dans un délai de 30 jours

À partir du 8 septembre, les vols annulés par les compagnies aériennes pour des raisons indépendantes de leur volonté devront être remboursés dans un délai de 30 jours. Cette nouvelle exigence a été ajoutée au Règlement sur la protection des passagers aériens.

En vertu des règles fédérales mises en œuvre il y a trois ans, les passagers doivent être indemnisés jusqu’à 2400 $ s’ils se sont fait refuser l’embarquement parce qu’un voyage a été surréservé et recevoir jusqu’à 2100 $ pour des bagages perdus ou endommagés. Les retards et autres paiements pour des vols annulés justifient une indemnisation pouvant aller jusqu’à 1000 $.

À peine les nouvelles règles de remboursement des passagers aériens annoncées qu’elles suscitent la grogne chez les transporteurs canadiens.
