This is likely gonna hit hard but she is so real in this message. Grilling your kids for information puts them in the middle and frankly makes them feel uncomfortable.

Make their childhood a positive one- spend every minute making happy memories. Make it about you and them not their other parent and what is right or wrong.

I do not agree with everything she talks about but I have seen this situation play out in clients before - where the other parent plans there vacations to stretch out the time with the kids. It isn’t about wanting time with them, it is about the other parent.

When thinking about the best interest of children- is it better for them to go that long without seeing the other parent? No it is not. This message is so important.
