Happy Thanksgiving🙏🏿❤️ This year hits a little different..

I’ve been through my share of trials and tribulations, but losing my father just a week before Thanksgiving cracked something open in me. I haven’t cried in a long time, but the tears have been flowing like never before… and honestly, I think I needed that release.

As hard as it’s been, I can see now why God chose this time. It forced me to pause, to reflect, and to be grateful in a deeper way than I’ve ever been. I’ve been thinking about my upbringing, the lessons, the moments, the memories and I’m thankful for all of it.

Most of all, I’m thankful for the love and support surrounding me. My wife and children. My mother. My siblings. My aunties, uncles, cousins, and extended family. My friends, my work family, and the people in the communities I serve🙏🏿 every call, every message, every visit, every gesture of love means more than I can put into words. Nothing goes overlooked.

In this season of thanks, I realize something powerful; we need to be this kind of love and support for each other, not just when things are good, but especially when life breaks us open. That’s how we evolve as people. That’s how humanity grows.

So I am grateful and thank God for the revelation, the love, and the reminder that even in pain, there’s purpose. 🙏🏾
