🇨🇦 Express Entry Job Offer Points: Which Occupations Qualify for 100, 70, 50 or 0 CRS Points?

Starting November 3, 2026, IRCC will introduce a new system for awarding CRS points for eligible job offers based on occupation-specific wage thresholds. An LMIA will no longer be required for qualifying job offers under this system.

Here’s how the points are distributed:

🔹 100 CRS points: Occupations with a median wage at least 2 times the Canadian workforce median.

🔹 70 CRS points: Occupations with a median wage at least 1.5 times the national median.

🔹 50 CRS points: Occupations with a median wage at least 1.3 times the national median.

🔹 0 CRS points: Occupations that do not qualify under the applicable IRCC categories.

📌 Important: These categories are determined by the occupation’s NOC code and national wage data, not your individual salary.

A qualifying job offer is still required. It must be for full-time, continuous work in Canada for at least one year after you become a permanent resident.
