How do you turn a powder room into… THIS? 👀
We started by completely rethinking the space. We didn’t want a shower, so we demolished it and took the opportunity to rebuild the room properly.
Behind the pretty finishes:
→ Reinsulated the back wall + roof
→ Built a custom 2x10 frame for the waterfall counter
→ New faucet, sink and towel hook
→ Added a floating vanity shelf underneath
→ Rewired the space for a single dimmable pot light, corner pendant + under-vanity lighting
→ New plumbing + toilet
→ New baseboards + trim
→ Widened doorway + new solid core door with new hinges
→ Fresh paint
→ And a LOT of planning, measuring and problem-solving in between
The best renovations are often the ones where you don’t notice the work… because everything just feels right.
And that’s exactly what we wanted here: a small powder room that feels intentional, elevated and completely custom.
This is also why we love renovation projects so much as real estate agents. We’re constantly looking at homes through two lenses: how do we make this beautiful, and how do we make it make sense?
The right renovation isn’t just about making a house prettier. It’s about understanding the space, knowing what to change, what to keep, and where the investment actually matters.
Follow along for more of the renovation - including the details you can’t see in the finished room. 👀
