I believe the decisions that shape your family’s future belong with you, not with a stranger. In mediation, you and your former partner stay in control of the outcome, with someone steady in the room helping you get there.

It’s not always easy. But it can be calmer, kinder, and more focused on what matters most, especially when there are kids involved.

I work with families all across Ontario, all virtually.

Whenever you’re ready to talk, I’m here.

Holidays have a way of bringing every change into sharp focus, and the first Thanksgiving after separation can feel especially heavy.

If that’s where you are this weekend, swipe through for a few gentle ways to make it a little easier, for you and for your kids. ➡️

And if holidays keep turning into tension, a clear parenting plan can take the guesswork out of every one that follows. It’s something I help families build, virtually, from anywhere in Ontario.

Wishing you a peaceful Thanksgiving, however your family looks this year. 🍂

When couples first come to mediation, there’s often a quiet worry underneath it all: will the mediator be on my side, or theirs?

The honest answer? Neither. And both.

My job isn’t to decide who’s right. It’s to make sure each of you feels heard, understands your options, and has the space to make decisions you can both live with, especially when children are involved.

That balance is at the heart of everything I do, whether we’re working through a parenting plan, support, or dividing what you’ve built together. And because every session is virtual, you can take part from wherever you feel most at ease.

If you’re wondering whether mediation could work for your family, I offer a free 20-minute exploratory session. No pressure, just a conversation.

I’m here when you’re ready.

All of my mediation sessions happen virtually, and that's on purpose.

When you're going through a separation, the last thing you need is one more drive, one more waiting room, one more thing to arrange around work and the kids. Meeting online means you can join from wherever you feel most settled, whether that's your kitchen, your parked car, or a quiet room with the door closed.

It also means I can work with families across Ontario, not just close to home.

If you've been putting off this step because it felt like one more thing to manage, the first one is simple: a free 20-minute exploratory session, from wherever you are. You can find the link to book this in my bio.

If you're lying awake running through every "what if," I want you to know something: not having answers yet is completely normal.

Most people I speak with start the same way. They don't know what questions to ask. They don't know what their options are. Some aren't even sure they're ready to separate.

You don't need a plan before you reach out. Figuring it out together is part of what I do.

I'm here when you're ready.

You're not imagining it. Summer's flexibility is gone, and suddenly there are PA days, supply lists, pick-up schedules and permission forms to coordinate between two homes.

A few things that help the families I work with:

📅 Map the rest of the school year against your parenting schedule now, before a PA day turns into a last-minute scramble
💵 Agree on how school costs and extracurricular fees get split, so it doesn't become a text-message debate
📧 Ask the school to add both parents to emails and the parent portal, so nobody relies on the other to forward things
💬 Give your child's teacher a quick heads-up about the two-household setup

And if you and your co-parent get stuck on something, that's normal. It's exactly what mediation is for, and it's all done virtually, so it won't add another trip to your already full calendar.

My free 20-minute consultation is a good place to start. I'm here when you're ready.

The lawyer's retainer you can't quite justify. The Google searches at midnight. The fear that asking for help means admitting things have gotten that bad. The quiet relief when you realize there's an option that isn't a courtroom.

Asking for help doesn't mean you've failed. It means you're done doing this the hard way. There's a gentler way through this, and I can walk you through it.

The fight you almost had in the school pickup line. The forced smile at your kid's soccer game. The effort it takes to keep the tension invisible to the people who matter most.

They notice more than you think, and how this ends matters as much as how it started. I'm here when you're ready.

The friends who don't know what to say. The advice that doesn't fit your situation. The 2am thoughts you can't say out loud to anyone yet.

You don't have to figure this out alone, and you don't have to figure it out in a courtroom either. I'm here when you're ready.

No one warns you how many decisions you'll have to make.

Who tells the kids. When you tell them. Whether you keep the house. What happens to the dog. It never feels like one big decision, it feels like a hundred small ones, all landing at once.

I can't make those decisions for you, but I can help you work through them one at a time, without a courtroom deciding for you instead.
