Today is World Human Rights Day!🌎
Every year on December 10, people around the globe come together to reflect on human rights and the ongoing work needed to ensure everyone is treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
At ARCH Disability Law Centre, we work every day to advance and protect the rights of persons with disabilities, especially those who face discriminatory barriers in accessing services, participating in their communities, or having their voices heard.
Human rights belong to every single person. This includes the right to inclusion, safety, accessibility, justice, and equal treatment. On Human Rights Day, we’re reminded that protecting these rights is a shared responsibility.
Let’s continue working together to build a world where:
• Persons with disabilities are included and respected
• Barriers are removed, not ignored
• Everyone’s rights are protected
• No one is left behind
🌟Join Us Today – December 10 Panel
ARCH is hosting a Human Rights Day panel later today (2PM EST) focused on disability rights, inclusion, and the ongoing work needed to advance equality in Canada. We’ll be discussing real barriers, real solutions, and ways we can all support human rights in our communities.
Please note: this panel will be presented in English only.
