• Don’t wait for the “perfect” market
Rates and demand shift fast
Waiting often means paying more on your next purchase or missing your window

• Look beyond the price
The best offer is not always the highest
Clean terms, solid financing, and a reliable closing matter just as much

Real estate HILLS will die on as a real estate agent in Durham region.

Ever heard an agent say “I’ve been doing this for 25 years”?
Could mean they really know what they’re doing.
It could also mean they aren’t current on today’s market or strategies.

We are allowed to “double end” transactions. I don’t judge those who do but I am not comfortable and don’t believe I can get my seller top dollar while helping the buyer get a home for less. My choice, and I think it’s best for my sellers.

If an agent is desperate for business they may give their own money away and cut their commission just so you’ll hire them. I bet they’ll give your money away during negotiations too.

A local agent will serve clients better than an agent from way out of town. Local agents know their markets, their neighbourhoods, their fellow agents.
