Flags at Town of Bancroft facilities have been lowered to half-mast as a mark of respect and remembrance following the tragic training incident at CFB Wainwright, Alberta, which claimed the lives of four Canadian Armed Forces members.

The Town of Bancroft extends its deepest condolences to the families, friends, and fellow service members of those who lost their lives, and we hold in our thoughts all those who were injured or otherwise affected by this devastating event.

As communities across Canada mourn this profound loss, we honour the service, dedication, and sacrifice of these soldiers and stand in solidarity with the Canadian Armed Forces community.
