Người lao động có thể nộp đơn gia hạn OWP khi đang chờ kết quả PR

IRCC đã gia hạn chính sách công tạm thời, cho phép các ứng viên theo lộ trình TR to PR tiếp tục nhận giấy phép lao động mở (OWP) có thời hạn dài hơn trong khi hồ sơ của họ đang được xử lý. Chính sách này hiện có hiệu lực đến ngày 31 tháng 12 năm 2026 và cũng áp dụng cho vợ/chồng, bạn đời theo luật chung, và con phụ thuộc của đương đơn chính.

Để đủ điều kiện theo chính sách này, đương đơn phải thoả mãn:

👉Có tình trạng cư trú tạm thời (bao gồm cả duy trì tình trạng hợp pháp) hoặc đủ điều kiện để khôi phục tình trạng cư trú tạm thời.
👉Có giấy phép lao động còn hiệu lực dưới 4 tháng
👉Nộp đơn xin OWP trực tuyến qua tài khoản bảo mật của IRCC.
👉Chỉ rõ chương trình TR to PR công khai mà họ đã nộp đơn trước đó.
👉Đã có giấy phép lao động hợp pháp và đáp ứng yêu cầu ngôn ngữ của IRCC tại thời điểm nộp đơn PR.
👉Nhận được email xác nhận từ IRCC rằng đơn PR của họ đã được tiếp nhận trong hạn mức cho phép, hoặc nhận thư từ Trung tâm Hỗ trợ Khách hàng (CSC)
