You may have heard the news today… 📣

🏠 Today, the Bank of Canada announced the maintenance of the policy rate. What does this mean for our real estate market? 📈

Buyer confidence may lead to more market activity (which we have seen in the past couple of weeks!) … While some might wait for rates to drop, history suggests lower rates can coincide with higher prices.

So, as a buyer, the question arises: would you rather a lower rate with a higher purchase price or higher rate with a lower purchase price? 🤔

If you prefer lower prices, then it may be best to start getting your pre-approvals sooner…

If you prefer lower rates, then you may have more time to think… but our inventory will have to keep up with the buyer demand to avoid the crazy bidding wars and extreme price increases that may come with this option 😵
