In 2005-2009 a lot of Brits placed deposits on properties in Bulgaria which had problems and the building stopped for years, even in some cases for almost 20 years. A lot of these people have probably written off their investments however recently there has been positive development with the following complexes in Bansko: The Orchard, Pirin Suites and White Oak. The building has resumed and The Orchard is expecting Permission for Use. The building has resumed for White Oak, too. Pirin Suites is finished but has a new owner since 2021. On 1 January 2026 Bulgaria adopted EURO currency instead of lev. As per the law, all companies have until 31 December 2026 to submit in the Trade Register new Constitutive Deeds where the capital is in EUR, not leva. Please contact us if you need assistance.
