Very happy and proud to maintain our position in the Gold (1st) Tier in the 2018 WTR1000. According to the World Trademark Review, citing our clients and peers: "Van Innis & Delarue punches well above its weight in bet-the-company trademark disputes; the gold-tiered two-partner outfit has no problem grappling with the most demanding landmark cases – especially in the luxury, fashion and designer goods sectors, where it is a staunch defender of innovators’ rights". http://www.worldtrademarkreview.com/wtr1000/Rankings/Detail.aspx?g=ea99eca4-366f-4dcc-b7f3-d507e8b84a8e

Very very very interesting decision by the Court of Justice of the European Union today on the recoverability of attorney fees in IP disputes in Belgium, marking the end of the cap: "32. (...) However, Article 14 of that directive precludes national legislation providing flat-rates which, owing to the maximum amounts that it contains being too low, do not ensure that, at the very least, a significant and appropriate part of the reasonable costs incurred by the successful party are borne by the unsuccessful party."

Thank you to everyone who has shown support in the face of Zara ripping off my artwork and telling me that I wasn't "big enough" for anyone to know it was my work. You have made a significant difference in the progress of my case and I am so appreciative. ❤️

Congrats to Serax for 30 years at the forefront of tableware, small furniture and other original and beautiful object design. Thanks for the wonderful party last Saturday to celebrate this achievement. http://serax.com/en/about-serax/887

In 1986, brothers Axel and Serge Van den Bossche decided to take over their mother’s business under the name of Serax. What started with a series of flower pots soon grew into an extensive range of decorative articles. In the early nineties the management team was strengthened with the arrival of Fr...

Thank you Harley Lewin en Co, as always, for the wonderful hospitality, and thank you also to all other clients, colleagues and best friend firms for the organization of a great deal of interesting curricular and extra-curricular activities. Alexander Wang is the latest designer to recover the right use his name after the trademark was secured in 2011 by another party in bad faith.
