এটা কি শাস্তি?
একজন বিচারক তার টেবিলে থাকা পেপার ওয়েট ছুড়ে মারল, একজন শিক্ষানবিশ আইনজীবী আঘাত প্রাপ্ত হলো, অন্তত তাকে ক্ষমা চাইতে হলো না। তাকে সংযুক্ত করা হলো। শেষ?
যদি এই ঘটনা কোন বিচার প্রার্থীর দ্বারা হতো তাহলে আজ কি হতো?
আমার এক আসামি মানসিক ভাবে কম বুদ্ধি সম্পন্ন ছিল। বাদীর আইনজীবী কিছু অসত্য কথা জোরে জোরে বলতে থাকলে আমার আসামি কাঠগড়ায় ঘুসি মারতে থাকে আর বলে সব মিথ্যা। জজ সাহেবা তাকে cw মূলে জেলে দেন। আমিও কোন প্রতিবাদ করিনি। পরে অনেকদিন পর তাকে জামিন দিয়েছিল।
যদি আমার আসামি জজের দিকে কিছু ছূরে মারতো তাহলে কি হত? আজকে ভাবছি?

Is this punishment?

​What would have happened today if this exact incident had been caused by a seeker of justice [a litigant]?
​One of my clients (an accused person) was mentally challenged. When the plaintiff’s lawyer started shouting a bunch of lies, my client began punching the dock and shouting, "It's all lies!" The honorable judge sent him to jail under a CW [Court Witness] order. I didn't protest either. A long time later, he was granted bail.
​What would have happened if my client had thrown something at the judge? I wonder about that today.
