Dr. Mohan Keshavamurthy is an eminent Urologist, Uro-Oncologist, Uro-Gynaecologist, and Andrologist, Transplant, and Robotic Surgeon with over 30 years of extensive and varied surgical experience. He is a pioneer in Laser Urology and has the distinction of being the first to use both the Leonardo Diode laser and IPG Thulium laser in India. He is also an expert in Robot enabled Kidney Transplants & Robot-assisted Uro-oncological procedures and complex reconstruction of the Urinary tract in both adult and pediatric age groups. He also has been instrumental in setting up nationally acclaimed niche collaborative sub-specialty practice in Uro-Gynecology and Andrology. He is also renowned for his expertise in the implantation of flexible and inflatable Pe**le prosthesis, Pe**le lengthening procedures, Gender reassignment surgery, Exstrophy-Epispadias repair, and redo Hypospadias surgery. He has been instrumental in setting up the most successful kidney transplant programs in East & West Africa besides the Middle East.

● 3000 laser enabled Transurethral prostate procedures (LASER TURP)
● 2500 laser fragmentation of kidney (RIRS) and ureteric stones(URS)
● 2500 kidney transplants and 75 pancreas transplants.
Dr. Mohan is also known to be the pioneer in Laser Urology and an expert in complex reconstruction of the urinary tract and major uro-oncological procedures in both adult and pediatric age groups. He has further utilised his extensive experience & knowledge as a Kidney Transplant Surgeon to help set up one of the most successful kidney transplant programs in West and East Africa as well as in the Middle East.

A meritorious and award-winning student, Dr. Mohan after completing his MS in general surgery completed his MCh Urology from the prestigious KEM hospital, Mumbai. He was the topper for Mumbai university in the MCh urology exam held in 1995. He then completed a fellowship in Uro-gynaeconcology from the renowned cancer institute, Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. Besides these, he has done advanced training leading to a Fellowship in Solid organ transplantation from QE II HSC, Halifax, Canada and Fellowship of American society of Transplantation thereafter. Dr. Mohan has contributed many articles in various peer reviewed journals and has been invited as a speaker at scientific meetings in over 20 countries. He is also a Professor of urology and faculty member for the National DNB Urology training program.
With his extensive background in all forms of urologic and pelvic surgery, Dr. Mohan further enhanced his skills in the cutting edge technology of Robotic Surgery at the prestigious STAN Institute, Nancy, France and earned a Diploma in Robotic Surgery from the University of Lorraine, France.
