Khulna University Students Legal Aid Desk-KUSLAD This page intends to increase awareness and sensitivity of the community people to claim their legal rights through the justice sectors.

Khulna University Students Legal Aid Desk is a legal aid forum run by the law students of Khulna University which works for increasing legal awareness and providing legal advice. USAID’s Promoting Peace and Justice (PPJ) Activity works for raising awareness among the community level people PPJ have different activities among the people, school students and law students for different University. The main priority is to promote the rule of law and increase confidence in counter violent extremism.

Domestic Violence has always been a cruel scenario in our society which seems to have increased inadvertently during the current pandemic situation. According to a recent survey by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), a local human rights organization, at least 4,249 women and 456 children were subjected to domestic violence in 27 out of 64 districts of Bangladesh in April, with 1,672 women and 424 children facing violence for the first time in their lives.
