She is in the board of Khulna Power Company Limited, a publicly listed company, as an independent director. Barrister SYED EJAZ KABIR is Co- Founder of Triangle Chambers in Bangladesh. He is versatile as a corporate and commercial trial and appellate lawyer, and has experience in administrative law, dealing with commercal and corporate matters and intellectual property right issues. He is active in human rights issues, and has skills in awareness development and litigation issues. Kabir appears regularly before all courts. In his company and corporate practice, Kabir has handled a variety of cases ranging from class actions, corporate contractual liability, debt recovery and formulated policies. As public Prosecutor of Anti-Corruption Commission Kabir has worked in parallel with the Attorney General’s office to prosecute and cases brought under the special laws in relation to good governance and corruption. Mr. Kabir has been in-house lawyer for Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh, rendering legal advices on various issues of law including- Banking, IT, Telecommunication, Company and its compliance with the regulatory issues; and day to day Banking operations and its compliance issue, having the insight of the banking industry. He also has experience in handling arbitration and negotiations at national level. He is also the author of the chapter ‘Bangladesh’ of the book on International Commercial Arbitration, practice and procedure, Enforcement on Foreign Awards; covering more than 75 countries, published by Universal Law Publishing Company, New Delhi, India.
