A chapter of Bangladesh’s history has come to an end. Begum Khaleda Zia, three-time Prime Minister and a symbol of courage and resilience, has passed away, leaving behind a nation shaped by her sacrifice. She was more than a political leader she was a mother of democracy and constitutional values for millions. As the first woman Prime Minister of Bangladesh and a pioneer in the Muslim world, she broke barriers with dignity and strength. Despite imprisonment, illness and political hardship, she never lost faith in the people. Today, the nation bows its head in respect.
