On International Women’s Day, this year the theme is . Our team member has been featured in the campaign by ICE Today & Turn Up PR. Let access to legal help be equal and equitable.

"For me embracing equity for women is about introducing 'women-friendly' access to legal help at workplaces. Harassed women choose not to report such incidents owing to the fact that the panels dealing with such complaints at workplaces, if any, are predominantly comprised of men; the opposite gender in whom these victims, often hailing from conservative backgrounds, find it difficult to confide in. A 'women-friendly' access to legal help at workplaces, i.e. by recruitment of equal number of females at these panels, will appropriately position these complainants to speak about the harassment and allow fairness i.e. equity to be ensured."

When we think about violence against women and accessing justice, it is important to remember looking at it from an intersectional lens. Multiplicity of oppressions overlap and shape each other. Not all women share the same experiences and some are more disadvantaged than the other due to their identities.
