Update from South Korea 🇰🇷
Today, I had a meeting at the Bangladesh Embassy with the Charge d’Affaires and Counsellor (Political), Mr. Ashfaqu Rahman.
We discussed the entire matter concerning the students’ tuition fee refund, the ongoing judicial proceedings, and the possible ways to recover the students’ money. They kindly understood the situation and shared valuable thoughts and advice on how we can move forward.
We also discussed the responsibilities of agencies working in the study-abroad sector. Proper guidance is extremely important, and students should be encouraged to apply with IELTS or the required language qualifications whenever possible, as applying without proper preparation can create significant difficulties later.
Most importantly, this matter is now before the Court. The matter will therefore be decided through the competent court, and no one should interfere with the independence of the judiciary.
I will inform everyone about the details and the latest developments tomorrow at the Court. I will also visit the University and continue working on the matter.
Everyone, please keep the students in your prayers. 🤲
I will try my very best to protect the interests of the students and help them recover their money through the proper legal process.
Thank you all for your support, trust and prayers.
